GOD IS FOR YOU

“He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6b (NLT)

If you were to rate the year over 10, what would it be? If you were to score yourself based on the new year resolution you made at the beginning of the year, will you give yourself a pass mark?

Oftentimes, as the year comes to an end, it’s easy to worry about all one could have done and achieve that one loses touch on the good that happened. But as believers, we do not analyze the year from a state of worry or regrets but a state of gratitude.

With a heart of gratitude, we know that no matter how the year went, God is for us. He sees us, loves us and is aligning us to His will. We see from our anchor scripture that He will never fail or abandon you. This is the God we serve, a loving God. Through the deepest trials that you faced this year, rest assured that God was right there with you all along, fighting your toughest battles for you.

You are not alone. What a joy to know that your Father is for you! Guiding and directing you. Therefore, just like Paul asked in Romans 8:31, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” We can confidently say nothing because we have a Father who cares and fights for us.

Dear brethren, be strong and courageous. No matter how the year was, with a heart of gratitude, we know for sure, God is for us. So, if any of our goals weren’t achievable this year, we go again next year, and we push harder.

Paul faced similar struggles we face and many more (2 Corinthians 11:22–28). However, his intimate relationship with God had become his all-consuming passion. Regardless of the trials and tribulations, He knew God is for Him and with Him.

God is working on your behalf. His will is to bless you and to set you free from the lies of the enemy. His will is for you to grow in Him and be the person that He has created you to be. Meditate on the fact that you are loved by God and that He is for you to accomplish His will in your life.
