Day 47, February 16th, 2025 (Leviticus 22-23, Acts 3)

The ministry of the Holy spirit in the life of a believer can not be overemphasised. While Jesus walked on the earth, His disciples  struggled with walking in power such that a person seeking healing had to report them to Jesus.

However, in Acts 3 the work of the Holy spirit in the lives of the disciples-now apostles was so evident. Having waited to be endued with power, they walked with so much boldness and power and healed the lame man at the beautiful gate. They also boldly declared the word of God to everyone around.

God gave us His very Spirit that was at work in Jesus, this means that we can walk in the power like Jesus did. In fact, Jesus said we would do greater works than he did on this earth. We only need to walk in the Spirit

In leviticus 22-23, God gave the Israelites instructions on the kind of feasts they must celebrate. From the sabbath to the passover, feasts of firstfruits,  feast of weeks, feasts of trumpets, day of atonement, and the feast of tabernacles. These seven feasts serve as key reminders of God’s covenant with the Israelites and their history.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always work in the consciousness of the Holy spirit.
