“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 NKJV
We have to fulfil purpose and purpose is that one thing for which we were created and at which we must succeed otherwise nothing else you succeed at will count.
Being a believer goes beyond God redeeming us by the finished works of Christ, we also have a role to play by preaching the Gospel to others and getting men saved. God doesn’t expect us to only believe in Him, he wants us to tell others about what He did for them in Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:15 informs us that, Jesus died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
We are new men in Christ Jesus and all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-18).
It is not enough that God reconciled us to Himself in Christ Jesus, he wants us to reconcile others as well and this is why he has given us the ‘ministry of reconciliation’
There is more to our walk with God because He doesn’t want us to only know him but he desires for others to know him through us. We are instrumental in preaching the Gospel to others and getting men saved.
CONFESSION: I am not only a receiver of the Gospel message, I dispense this message to my world. Because of me, more people will be added to the body of Christ.
