“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” – Habakkuk 2:14 (NKJV)
Have you noticed that no matter how difficult a task is, once you believe it is achievable, you are more likely to give it your all to complete it?
Many successful leaders have employed this method of prompting their followers to work. They sell a beautiful picture of the company’s future to the staff, which stirs them to work towards that desired future. It’s like the instruction in Habakkuk 2: 2 – Write the vision plainly and whoever reads it, will run with it.
This is why you must see the vision of God for the earth and believe that it can be done because your mindset will influence how you approach working to see it come to fulfilment. Isaiah 9:6-7 shows us that the zeal of the Lord can perform His counsel. God can jealously guard every prophecy to execution.
What if you knew and believed that God jealously stewards everything He has said?
Believe in your heart that if God desires all men to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4), then it must be possible. The One who sent you wasn’t trying to frustrate you. If He sends you on an assignment, He will see it through. This is your God!
The Bible is replete with stories of God working through individuals to bring His salvation plan to fruition. From beginning to end, we see supernatural coincidences and divine interventions, all working together to one end. Hebrews 11 is littered with examples of men and women that God used to fulfil His promises. Many of these individuals did not even realise that just by living their lives, they played significant roles in God’s grand plan of salvation.
See your place in His work and play your part. Side with God! He wants to reach the whole world, but how will they hear unless someone tells them (Romans 10:14)? You have been sent, child of God (Matthew 28:19-20), so go!
How would you act if you knew Habakkuk 2:14 would be fulfilled and you had a part to play?
Believing in God’s vision for the earth is beyond acknowledging it; it’s about letting that belief shape your actions and approach. When you are convinced that God’s vision is attainable, your dedication and effort will reflect that conviction. So, see the vision, believe in it, buy into it, and let it guide you to fulfil your part in God’s grand plan.
You must expand the mental capacity of your vision because the level of your impact depends on it. If He says it can be done, then it can be done! Play your part like someone who knows that this is true.
Your disposition should be this: God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.
