We are always encouraged to dream, dream big, and dream high. But what happens when your dream makes people jealous of you? In Genesis 37 we see how Joseph’s dream gets him sold for twenty pieces of silver, by his brothers.
Just like Joseph was not afraid to dream, even if the dream was costly, do not be afraid to dream and pursue your dreams. If God has blessed you with a vision, believe it and pursue it. In the later chapters, we see that Joseph’s dream did come to pass, even with all the ploy to stop the dream from happening. Nobody can stop what God is doing in your life, no one.
The words declared about Jesus in the prophecies of Isaiah unravel in Matthew 12:1-21. Though the Pharisees criticized his disciples and plotted against Him, He responded with wisdom and kindness. They sought to trap him with tricky questions but His response was mercy for those in need of healing. As Isaiah 42 prophesied, He did not quarrel or cry out.
Like Jesus and Joseph, great things have been spoken about you. Despite the plans and works of those against you, remember that God is for you. Walk in integrity, mercy and compassion according to God’s will for you.
Say this: I will not be too scared to pursue the dream God has given me, with boldness and faith.

3 But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:
