SATAN IS FALLEN

“I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven.” — Luke 10:18 (NKJV)

Some stories make it seem like light and darkness are in a constant tug of war; two powerful forces locked in battle, hoping to win the upper hand. That’s how many people imagine the devil: as God’s equal opposite. But that’s not the truth. This is not a cosmic rivalry; satan is not a rival to God.  He has been defeated and is under judgment. His defeat was not a close fight; it was decisive and humiliating.

As a child of God, the enemy has no legal right or authority over you. You are not struggling for victory but standing in it. God has made you more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). That means the enemy is already defeated before he even tries. The devil may roar (I Peter 5:8), but he has no bite unless you let him. His only real weapon is deception, and when you know the truth, his lies lose their power.

Victory in Christ is your reality, but it must also become your revelation. You must know what the Word says about you. You must understand that the enemy is under your feet (Luke 10:19).

Ignorance gives the devil room to lie, intimidate, and oppress. But revealed knowledge puts him in his place. It silences his voice and reminds him that his authority was stripped. His plans are powerless against a believer who knows the truth.

God has given you authority over all the power of the enemy, but He will not use it for you. You must rise and use it. Learn to speak the Word and declare your victory. Stop seeing yourself as helpless. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).

Satan is under your feet, but if you don’t know this, you’ll live like a victim instead of a victor. You have access to spiritual weapons and a name that brings victory. Don’t fold your arms and wait for God to do what He has empowered you to do.

Dear believer, Satan has fallen. He has no throne, no voice, and no authority over your life. Refuse to live in fear. Refuse to act like a victim. You are not at the mercy of darkness. Stand tall in who you are in Christ. Walk in the victory that has already been won for you. The devil is under your feet—keep him there.
