NOT BY MIGHT

“So he answered and said to me: ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.”
Zechariah 4:6 NKJV

God didn’t give you His Spirit for nothing. His presence in your life must count for more than vibes. You may be intelligent and all, but your assignment can only be fulfilled by the Spirit in your life. You may be timid, but there’s something called the zeal of the Lord. There’s an energy that comes with it.

Amid an unfavourable climate, the word of the Lord came for Zerubabbel concerning the rebuilding of the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem. Its building was stopped for the longest time, which caused great religious distress for the returned exiles from Babylon. Yet, the word of the Lord came that it shall be rebuilt, and it was! Not by might, but by the Spirit! When the word of the Lord came, the climate changed. (Ezra 3:8-10, 6:14)

Like Zerubabbel, your assignment is sensitive because it has to do with souls, so you can’t afford to carry it out without the help of the Holy Spirit. You must expect to see the Holy Spirit move in your life. You should not be indifferent about it. As you live on purpose, you must keep on warring with the word of God. You cannot despise prophecies. Also, never stop praying.
