GO!

“So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!””- 2 Corinthians 5:20 NLT

There’s a popular Christian song that goes, “Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills, and everywhere. Go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is Lord” Few things are worth shouting from the mountains, hills, and everywhere, but eternal life made possible by the greatest love story is one of them.

This story is about God who, in His infinite mercy, made provisions for our salvation while we were deep in sin (Romans 5:8). He created a way for us to escape inevitable judgment by modelling the greatest sacrifice ever made (John 3:16). He gave Himself so that we could be rescued from sin, fear, damnation and all the consequences of our disobedience (Romans 6:23).

Christ commands that we love each other just as He has loved us (John 15:12-13). One of the ways we demonstrate this love is by sharing the message of His ultimate sacrifice (2 Corinthians 5:16-20). It is unfair to those around us to know the perfect antidote to their suffering and deny them this solution. As believers, It is our responsibility to share God’s love and life with our world. Christ’s sacrifice is not just for a few; it is for all, and we must be ready to go the extra mile to bring others to salvation (1 Timothy 2:4, Titus 2:11).The beautiful thing is that you will not be doing this work alone. You have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to partner with God in the ministry of reconciliation (Acts 1:18).

He will give you a desire to see more people saved, the boldness to preach the Gospel and will perform signs and wonders through you so that many will listen (Mark 16:17-18, John 16:18, Philippians 2:13). All you have to do is yield to His leading. We have been rescued by love, and in love, we must share what Christ has done for our dying world because Christ is the answer to the misery and pain our world is experiencing.

Every person deserves to experience the love of Christ, and it is our responsibility as believers to share that gift with the world.
