ENDLESS PURSUIT

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.`’Mark 16:15 (NKJV)

As believers, our goal, mandate, zeal and desire is a never-ending pursuit for the souls of men. It is what we have been called to do and so we ought always gravitate towards fulfilling that mandate.

We preach the gospel and win souls as if we will not have the opportunity tomorrow. This is essentially the purpose of every believer and we must succeed at it otherwise every other thing we succeed at will not count ultimately.

Going after souls will come with challenges like opposition, rejections, cancelling etc but we must find comfort in the fact that He who sent us has already assured us of glorious reward. Let us also consider that we were once unsaved and ignorant until the gospel was preached to us (Ephesians 2:1-3, Titus 3:3-5).

In Acts 4:1-31, Peter and John continued to preach the Gospel regardless of the opposition from the Jewish leaders. They pursued this cause endlessly because they understood that they had been called to live a life of purpose.

Therefore, It should be our earnest desire to see men saved and come to the knowledge of what God has done for them in Christ Jesus because it is crucial. From our anchor scripture, Jesus gave that charge and commanded his disciples (including you) to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  This is because souls are a stake and must be converted.

In our day, our strong zeal for the Gospel message must be discernible. We are to seize every opportunity to preach the Gospel. It should be at the top of our minds daily. We ought to confidently say to ourselves that ‘to live is Christ and to die is gain’ as Apostle Paul said in Philippians 1:21.

SAY THIS: My life will be spent propagating the message of the Gospel. I will pursue this cause till my last breath. As long as I am here, my generation will not look for God and will know more about God. I give answers to the questions about God in the heart of men.
