“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Matthew 11:23 (NKJV)

Imagine seeing a famous preacher somewhere along the road, speaking to a tree and cursing it aloud. Not only does this preacher curse the tree, but he turns to you and says, “If you say to a mountain, be removed, it will be done.” Interestingly, this is not fiction. Jesus himself was seen cursing a fig tree, by His disciples, and to their amazement, the fig tree dried up! When they questioned Him about this, He told them that they, by their faith, could do the seemingly impossible.

The Bible uses the word “faith” in various contexts. One example is Saving Faith, which relates to salvation. However, in our anchor text, Jesus refers to Charismatic Faith—the unwavering belief in God for supernatural intervention. A powerful example of this is the woman who suffered from bleeding for twelve years (Luke 8:43-48). Upon hearing about Jesus’ ministry, she believed in His power to heal her (Matthew 9:21). Demonstrating her faith, she pushed through the crowd just to touch the hem of His garment. In response, Jesus affirmed, “Your faith has healed you.”

The real question is: Do you genuinely believe that God can intervene in your situation, no matter what it may be? Faith isn’t just about believing—it’s about acting on that belief. In what ways have you demonstrated your faith in His power and promises?

The demonstrations of faith recorded in Scripture serve as examples to inspire and strengthen our hope (Romans 15:4). It is our responsibility to study, meditate on, and follow these examples. What you hear shapes what you believe, what you believe influences what you speak, and what you speak determines what you experience! Hold firm to faith, declare God’s truth over every situation, and witness His mighty intervention in your life.

Dear Believer, God desires for you to prosper in every way and live in good health (3 John 1:2). Don’t just believe that He can do it—believe that He will do it. He is willing, and He wants you to experience His goodness in every area of your life.

As you go through today and beyond, refuse to give doubt and unbelief any place in your heart. God has spoken—we believe it, declare it, and witness it come to pass!
